Corrections — Sankofa Daily
✎ Corrections

We correct the record — openly.

Accuracy is armor. A brand that tells history the textbooks skipped has to be more rigorous than its critics, not less. When we get something wrong, we fix it in public and say what changed.

Our policy

How we handle corrections.

  1. Report. Anyone can flag a possible error — through the form on this page or by email. We read every one.
  2. Verify. We re-check the claim against primary sources. If it’s wrong or unclear, it gets fixed.
  3. Fix everywhere. We update the video description, pinned comment, infographic, and any repost — not just one copy.
  4. Log it. Every substantive correction is added to the public log below, with the date and what changed.

What counts as a correction

  • A factual error (date, name, figure, attribution)
  • A source that doesn’t support the claim
  • Missing context that changes the meaning
  • A misspelled name or mislabeled image

Differences of interpretation aren’t “corrections,” but we still welcome the conversation — history is argued in good faith.
